A meat processing unit was established in year 2012 under the brand name of ‘’TEMPT” in order to build a brand name for its meat products. Supplying the whole pork carcass, fruits and vegetables to main supermarkets was its main business for many years without its brand name. New market segments such as star class hotels, restaurants, whole sale buyers, etc. were opened after establishing the ‘’TEMPT brand name.Currently Chutiduwa Livestock (Pvt) Ltd is the market leader in Sri Lanka for Pork meat production which is around 30% of the pork meat requirement in Sri Lanka. Further Chutiduwa Livestock (Pvt) Ltd is the market leader of Piglet supply to small farmers in Sri Lanka which around 40% of the requirement in Sri Lanka. Further, Chutiduwa Group maintain ISO 14001 & ISO 22000 quality standards and one of the main organic fertilizer (Compost) supplier to large , medium and small farmers located in all over Sri Lanka. We have business investments with large numbers of rubber manufacturing SME sector Entrepreneurs in Sri Lanka .
