캐나다 새스캐치원 州 수상
(1)캐나다 새스캐치원 주정부 수상이 이끄는 사절단 일행은 한국을 방문하여 수입협회와의 단독 오찬간담회 자리를 가졌다.
(2) 수출진흥청(STEP, Saskatchewan Trade & Export Partnership)과 캐나다 곡물협회, 캐놀라개발위원회, 콩재배협회, 식품산업개발센터 및 기타 곡물생산회사 등으로 구성된 80명 내외의 사절단장 브래드 월 수상은 무한한 소비시장을 보유한 한국을 신흥선진국가로 평가하면서 수입협회 위상에 맞는 업무교류 활성화를 약속하였다.
(3)협회장은 캐나다 州 수상과 주한 캐나다 대사 및 사절단의 방한을 환영하고, 세계 곡물시장에서 최상위 순위에 위치하는 캐나다 새스캐치원 州 곡물상품에 대한 수입활성화를 기약하고자 주정부 수출진흥청(STEP)과 업무협약 MOU 서명식을 가졌다.
Luncheon Meeting with the Premier of the Government of Saskatchewan, Canada
Chairman Shin hosted an exclusive luncheon meeting with the Honorable Brad Wall, the Premier of the Government of Saskatchewan, Canada, at the Westin Chosun on September 19 and discussed measures for vitalizing the importation of grain products from Saskatchewan, which are rated as the most significant in the global grain market. Accordingly, both KOIMA and STEP (the Saskatchewan Trade & Export Partnership) concluded a memorandum of understanding.
