(1.25) 주한 태국대사 초청 만찬
신명진 회장은 지난 25일 Sarun Charoensuwan(싸란 짜른쑤완) 주한 태국대사 초청 만찬에 참석하여 양국간 협력을 논의했다.
Sarun 대사는 수입협회는 오랫동안 태국과 돈독하고 견고한 협력관계를 유지해오고 있으며, 무역ㆍ투자부문 협력을 강화하자고 제안하고, 협회 회원들에게 더 많은 태국기업과 상품들을 소개하겠다고 밝혔다. 또한 올해 5월말 태국 방콕에서 개최되는 아시아 대표 식품전시회중 하나인 THAIFEX 2017에 KOIMA 회원들을 초청하였다.
신명진 회장은 태국은 개인적으로도 많은 인연이 있으며, 한국인에게 친숙한 나라여서 양국간 협력 잠재력은 크다면서, 앞으로 협회와 대사관이 협력을 더욱 강화해 나가면 양국간 교역불균형 해소에 큰 도움이 될 것이라고 밝혔다.
Dinner Invitation by Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of Korea
Chairman Myoung-jin Shin participated in a dinner hosted by H.E. Sarun Charoensuwan, Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of Korea, held at the residence of the Thai Ambassador on January 25. At the dinner, Chairman Shin discussed the potential for cooperation between the two countries, along with ways to expand cooperation between KOIMA members and Thai enterprises.
