(2.7) 주한 튀니지대사 초청 만찬
신명진 회장은 2월 7일 Mohamed Ali Nafti(모하메드 알리 나프티) 주한 튀니지대사 초청 만찬에 참석하여 양국간 협력을 논의했다.
Nafti 대사는 튀니지는 지중해에 위치하여 인구는 1100만이며, 2010년말 중동과 북아프리카 전체로 퍼진 민주화 운동인 자스민 혁명의 시발점이 튀니지라면서, 주요 생산품은 농산물, 섬유제품, 비철금속, 수산물 등 이라고 했다. 특히, 올리브 오일의 주요 산지로서 우리가 이태리에서 수입하는 올리브 오일의 상당수는 튀니지産이라고 한다.
신명진 회장은 올리브오일은 한국기업이 OEM 방식으로 수입이 가능하다며, 현재 인구 5천만의 한국에 대한 수출이 5천만불에 그치고 있어 수출확대가 가능하다며, 오는 4월에 튀니지ㆍ영국ㆍ불가리아로 수입사절단 파견을 예정하고 있다며 협회와 대사관이 협력을 강화해 나가면 양국간 교역확대에 큰 도움이 될 것이라고 밝혔다.
Dinner Invitation by Ambassador of Tunisia to the Republic of Korea
Chairman Myoung-jin Shin participated in a dinner hosted by H.E. Mohamed Ali Nafti, Ambassador of Tunisia to the Republic of Korea, held at the residence of the Tunisian Ambassador on February 7, and discussed issues related to the upcoming dispatch of a KOIMA Import Delegation to Tunisia scheduled for April. In addition, Ambassador Nafti introduced the main exports of Tunisia, such as agricultural products, textile goods, nonferrous metals, marine products, etc.
