신명진 회장은 9월22일 포시즌스호텔에서 이위르키 카타이넨 유럽연합 부위원장을 초청해 한-EU FTA 비즈니스 포럼을 공동 주관하고, 기조연설을 통해 한-EU FTA 5년 성과와 향후 방향모색에 대한 의견을 전달했다. Korea-EU Business Forum Chairman Shin invited Mr. Jyrki KATAINEN, European Commission Vice-President, to jointly conduct the Korea-EU FTA Business Forum, and shared their opinions on the five-year performance of Korea-EU FTA and seeking of future directions.
