말레이시아 통상산업부 장관 면담(Meeting with the Minister of International Trade & Industry of Malaysia)
신명진 회장은 방한한 말레이시아 통상산업부 무스타파 모하메드(Dato Sri Mustapa Mohamed) 장관을 만나 2016년 협회 말레이시아 사절단과 협회의 역할에 대해 설명했다.
무스타파 장관은 지난 4년간 매년 한국을 방문해서 주요기업들과 단체장들을 만나면서 한ㆍ말련 양국의 무역ㆍ투자부문 협력을 강화해 왔다면서, 협회 사절단방문에 사의를 표하고 빠른 시일내에 다시 한번 방문해 주기를 희망한다고 밝혔다.
신명진 회장은 세계 각국에서 수입협회 사절단 파견 요청을 해오고 있으며, 우리 정부와 논의하여 다시 한번 방문할 기회를 잡아보겠 다고 말했다.
On Oct. 19, KOIMA Chairman Myoung-Jin Shin had luncheon with Minister Darell Leiking of the Ministry of International Trade & Industry (MITI) of Malaysia, to discuss trade cooperation between South Korea and Malaysia. The minister expressed his gratitude for KOIMA’s cooperation and support in the matter, and requested re-dispatch of the KOIMA’s Import delegation to his country.
