신명진 회장은 7월15일부터 19일까지 박근혜 대통령 동행 몽골 경제협력사절단에 참가해 양국간 비즈니스 네트워크 확대 활동을 전개했다. 이번 몽골 울란바토르 방문은 2013년 박 대통령이 주창한 유라시아 이니셔티브에 따라 2014년 우즈베키스탄을 시작으로 한 중앙아시아 및 중동 국가 방문의 일환으로 이루어졌다. 신 회장은 라왁자브 몽골 상공회의소 회장을 예방, 양국 통상협력 방안을 협의하고 경쟁력 있는 몽골제품을 KOIMA 회원사에 소개해 줄 것을 요청했다. 아울러 내년 수입상품전시회에 몽골 대표단이 참가하기로 상호 합의하는 등 실질적인 성과도 거두었다. Business Delegation for President Park’s State Visit to Mongolia Chairman Myoung-jin Shin joined a business delegation alongside President Park Geun-hye and visited Mongolia from July 15 to 19 to expand business networks between the two countries. President Park's visit to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia was a part of the state visits to Central Asian and Middle Eastern countries that started off with Uzbekistan in 2014 under her project "Eurasia Initiative" proposed in 2013. Chairman Shin had a meeting with Chairman of the Mongolian National Chamber Of Commerce and Industry, Lkhagvajav Baatarjav, to discuss cooperative trade relations and asked him to introduce competitive Mongolian products to KOIMA members. They mutually agreed on Mongolian delegation's participation in the Import Goods Fair 2017 to be held next year.
