3. 주요내용
(1) 지난 12월 러시아 대사의 오찬초청에 대한 답신으로 제 2회차 면담을 위하여 신명진 협회장은 러시아 대사관을 직접 방문하였다.
(2) 이 자리에는 대사를 비롯하여 러시아 무역대표부 대표와 함께 경제서기관도 참석하여 수입협회 회원회사의 실질적인 對 러시아 무역거래 활성화를 위하여 깊이 있는 방안을 논의하는 시간을 가졌다. 이와 관련하여 신명진 회장은 러시아 수입사절단 구성을 적극 검토하기로 하고 러시아 대사는 적극적인 지원으로 화답하였다.
(3)또한 러시아 상품을 소개하는 Networking Platform구축을 위하여 6월22일 “수입상품전시회(IGF)” 참가와 함께 협회월간지 'IMPORT'誌를 활용하여 러시아 사업자료 게재를 지원하기로 합의하였다.
Meeting with the Russian Ambassador to Korea
Chairman Myoung-jin Shin visited the Embassy of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Korea on February 2, and met with Ambassador H.E. Alexander Timonin and Mr. Mikhail Bondarenko, the representative of the Russian Trade Representative Office in Korea, to discuss enhanced bilateral cooperation. This meeting took place to express gratitude to Ambassador Timonin for inviting the luncheon on December 27, and Ambassador Timonin promised his active support for the KOIMA members to expand trade with Russia. Chairman Shin also participated in the event of the Russian Diplomatic Service Day held in the Russian Embassy on February 9, and had time for extending congratulations and promoting friendship between the two institutions.
